Das Dur - Music Production

“Clusters of Light” is an elaborate 90-minute music-and-light show that tells the story of the Prophet Muhammed from birth until death. Commissioned by the ruler of Sharjah, His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, to help change the world’s negative perceptions of Islam, it focuses on the religion’s core values: peace, justice, tolerance and love. dasDUR transformed Prophet Mohammed’s narration into an impressive orchestral score with a performance that included more than 200 actors, 400 animated lights, 21 state-of-the-art projectors, 70 musicians from the German Film Orchestra Babelsberg and recording sessions in Berlin, the UAE and Cairo. dasDUR was entrusted with the project by Richard Lindsay, Creative Director of Australia’s Spinifex Group.
