Das Dur - Music Production

“Burning Snow” was the official opening ceremony for Umeå’s 2014 European Capital of Culture year. In collaboration with dasDUR, Henrik Oja and phase7, Sven Sören Beyer turned Umeå’s frozen river into a festival of light, music, song and movement. The voices of such national and international stars as Åsa Simma, Inga Juuso and Ulla Pirttijärvi captivated more than 55,000 spectators.
